Spectacular Catch rating?
 

Inquiry to find out how to make this rating function? Braylon Edwards has 99 SPC, but I never see him do anything special. Any insights into this?

I've seen SPC work well with a high CIT rating. I have a stud rookie WR who routinely catches tipped passes or makes grabs in tight coverage. It doesn't hurt that I have Jack English passing him the ball. Still I think SPC works in conjunction with CIT.

Braylon Edwards = The most over rated WR in the game today... Frankly, that 99 should be a 50... Along with his other catch ratings... The dude drops sooo many balls when he's wide open. that's in real life I mean. But after that, the 99 for SPC, I think is a "potential" thing that increases the chance of seeing the "realy cool catch animations"...

I have seen tip passes caught and tight coverage but nothing insane like a diving catch

I would have to disagree. Braylon fully deserve a 99 or near 99 spectacular catch because when there is no way the play should be made he comes up with the ball quite a bit. His catch rating, however, should be around a 30 cause wow, he sure can miss on any catch he really should be able to make.
