Do we get complete editing control back this year?

Everything editable for a current player, or created one?

No number limits on how many players you can edit?

Still don't understand why that was even taken out of our hands last year to begin with....

If not, I will not buy the game.

    Period.

It was inexcusable last year, but if they didn't put it back in this year, a lot of gamers will be pissed and will skip the game.

It's 2010. The game should be absolutely customizable from every angle imaginable.

agreed. What good is having full minor leagues if you cannot put the actual minor leaguers in the game?

Totally with you on that. This was the reason I didn't buy it last year.

Not buying if it's not in.

Also skipping if 7PM games still start in the dark.

                Here's your answer.

                I can answer:.

First question: no it won't be dark for the start of night games since it's near summer and the sun sets at a later time, also this depends on the location of the actual stadium too.

Yes, There is progressive lighting going thru all the times of day for many weather conditions.

                Thanks.

Last year they had a limit on the amount of players you could edit. You also could NOT edit batting stances or windups for any player period.

Anyone remember World Series Baseball 2K3 and how easy it was to edit people? It may have been the same in ESPN Major League Baseball, but it was truly as simple as seeing every player on the same screen and their attributes laid out like they were statistics. You would just select the attribute and increase or decrease the rating, and you could scroll down the list of players for the same attribute if you wanted to.

It didn't require highlighting a player, select the option to edit them, wait for the game to load, page over to the attributes screen, thumb down till you find the specific attribute, change it to what you desire, save changes, then rinse and repeat for the next player.

I'll see if there are any screenshots for it. I wish they went back to that style.

EDIT: Here's the best I could do.

You can see on the far right where it says AVG, which is the start of the attributes. Simply click on that number with the crossbar highlighting feature, and you can edit down the column very simply. Obviously this just shows for third basemen, but you can filter and sort however you want per team.

You can't edit stances or accessories this way, but it's much easier for attributes.

Blzer. i do remember this it was a great feature I would hope they could do this again weather it be this year or in future installments. I think what ticked people off last year was the limitations of editing. We had a limit of players we couldn't edit. Couldn't change batting stances or pitching windups for anyone many people were rubbed the wrong way on that one as you might expect. Hopefully this year we get the total control back and everything goes back to how it used to be.

Okay, little more help here. So, you could not edit the fake players names, etc., for roster makers? Is that what you're saying, or they let you edit up to a certain number, let's say 50 and then you couldn't edit anymore????

You got it right here. You also could not edit any batting stances or pitching windups.

Yup, this is a big one for me. It was a big reason I didn't even bother trying out the retail version of the game last year. I am optimistic about it this year because we can assign stances and deliveries to our player in the "my player" mode, and we couldn't even change a created players stance last year.

I really can't think that was a management decision to take that out. It makes no sense. I'm just wondering if some kind of coding created a glitch. I'm not sure how much Q@A goes into actually creating, or editing the players. Perhaps they edited a couple, said that it works, but there was bug that caused this to have a ceiling later. They just didn't know.

This is suicide to take this out purposely and I suspect the full editing will be back in the game.
