Do you have a passion about sports video games? Do you know how to construct sentences in a manner which people find pleasing? Operation Sports would love to hear from you.

Operation Sports is currently accepting applications for four writing positions. Requirements for writers here at Operation Sports is to contribute a minimum of 3 articles per month as well as the maintenance of a blog each month. Benefits include free games within your genre as well as a small monthly stipend.

Currently, we have the following positions available:

XBLA Writer
Hockey Games Writer
Racing Games Writer
Golf Games Writer
Independent/Minor Games Writer (Text Sims, XBLA, and any misc titles)

If you are interested in covering any of these sports/sections at Operation Sports then send an e-mail to us at [email protected] with the following details:

-Full Name
-Your Location
-The position you are applying for
-A short essay on your background/expertise in the area you are applying for
-Any previous writing experience
-Two relevant samples of your writing of at least 400 words in length
-Three sample article idea proposals you could write for Operation Sports
-Your Favorite Video Games (overall, not just limited to sports games)
-Your Favorite Sports Video Games
-The Typical Amount of Time you Spend Gaming Per Week, Amount of Time on Sports Games
-Do you Play Online?
-Your OS Username
-Your Age

Does Operation Sports have a resident blogger on all things sports? Are these the only writing positions open?

They are the only things open for sure man. We don't cover sports since we couldn't do nearly as good of a job as the people already covering them. :)

I appreciate it! If I was more of an XBLA gamer I would submit for that, but the jobs listed aren't my area of expertise in sports gaming or sports! Thank You! (I will keep blogging on here though! ;) )

Is there an age limit to be a writer?

I just saw this now,I was hoping the site was going to expand into some non-sports game reviews when I saw the title from the main page. :lol:
