Wishful thinking to believe this will affect the licensing agreement. Plus this has no bearing on the exclusive NFLPA licensing agreement as well.

Why do you think this will have no affect? If the Supreme Court rules in favor of American Needle, the directtv and EA deals wouldn't be any different than the reebok deal.

That would be up to the court. In theory they could rule in favour of AN, but say it only applies to clothing.

that's the thing no one else had suits against them in other areas. i believe directv could contract out if they want.

It won't happen that fast. In January, I was reading a decision would come by July and they were talking that the SC could render the decision back down to the lower courts.
