Home jersey's in 10?

There are a few teams in the majors that wore their alterante colored away jesrsey's at home this past season. And the show 09 didnt have the option to choose them. For example the Astros wear the red ones at home as well as the Nats wore their blue ones with the DC logo at home, too and also a few others. I know you can choose the spring training ones but that's not accurate. This is not all teams but a few,

Was this something that would be or added features?

You could choose both teams uniforms in 09 before a game. I used the Nats blue ones with the DC (is that a spring training shirt?) whenever I wanted to and chose the other teams jersey too.

same here Jim. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the OP's issue, but as far as selecting jersey's, I had no issue choosing any uniform for any team I played.

I know I played the Nats wearing their DC uniforms and the old Expos uniform and I'm almost positive that I played in Houston with the Astros wearing their Sunday red uniforms.

You could chose the unis for both teams. So maybe I'm missing something too.

I think he means that he wanted to use the Astros "away red" jersey for a home game, since the "home red" jersey wasn't in the game. Because certain days, I think Sunday afternoon games, the 'stros wear their ALT red home jersey.

And you couldn't choose away jersey's to play at home last season.

The team I noticed this with was Colorado on 09 but I'm sure there are others.

For the Rockies there was not an option for the black alt jersey at home. You could select it on the road but not at home. IRL they wore it both at home and road. I'm guessing situations like these have to do with the MLB style guide.

I would be nice to have the option to select any jersey for any game : home, road, alt jersey 1 (if the team has one), alt jersey 2 (again if team has one), throwback home and road.

The Mets had the same problem with their black jerseys,where they were supposed to be selectable for away and home games but could only be chosen on the road. Although this might be a moot point if their new cream-colored home jerseys are replacing the black ones this year.

Same issue for me with the Pirates black uniforms, they wore them every friday night game Home or Away, but you could only wear them during away games on The Show 09. At least they were in the game

Although, I still thought I played the Astros in Houston with them wearing red jerseys. I could very easily be mistaken.

This was the best upgrade from 08 to 09 (other than graphics, of course)

I loved the fact that I chose the uni's, not the computer like in 08. Even if some were wrong, I didn't care......

This is a surprisingly big deal to me too. I do wish there were a few more options.

Maybe even a uniform editor someday?

Well, for 10, there are more options. Everything from glove colors to shoes and socks can now be edited. So SCEA has stepped it up again!

Boom, you nailed it! Yes, that's what i mean is not a big deal but I would've liked to use any uniform jersey to wear during home games. I think the 'Stros been wearing the home red jersey's since 07.
