any one know of a midnight sale since the new battlefield bad company 2 is also comming out tuesday

I believe it is going to be on a store to store basis.

Since Battlefield will have a midnight release, individual stores will decide if they want to release MLB at midnight if they have enough pre-orders.


So calling your local gamestop (or other gamestore) would be best bet.

Most likely you would have to wait until Tuesday morning.

Gamestop where I live said they might be having a midnight release but was not sure just yet.

I went into the GameStop near where I live, I am good friends with the Manager, he said that most GameStops are not holding a midnight launch for BFBC2. I think the only one is in northern Illinois. GameStop will have it available on the street date of March 2nd.

I don't think so, but I work at the Empire State. So once I get out of the train around 8am, I walk foward, and there's a Gamespot right there. So I might be buying it right away before heading straight ahead to work.

One year I purchased it during midnight. Matter of fact it was last year. It was another game the store was having a midnight launch for. It sorely depends on on the store...

well, i'm gonna pre-order mine tomorrow at gamestop, and i'm gonna ask them, but then, where i live isnt exactly the central of anywhere, (or whatever i mean by that) so we dont exactly get the games first out here, lol

A buddy of mine is a manager at Gamestop... he originally told me no midnight because of BioShock 2 and God of War 3... but he owed me a favor and said he would see what he could do. Today, he confirmed that he was able to get the payroll hours to have a MLB 10/ Bad Company 2 release. It may also be because several of us hardcore gamers that shop their exclusively told them we wouldnt think twice about cancelling and heading to walmart at midnight lol
