RTTS options settings reverting back to default (figured out)

Ok so a few (including myself) had their options when saving certain setting in RTTS go back to default (for me like classic 1/4 and strike zone off option) when playing the actual RTTS game. For some reason the game does not save your setting when in the game. How to fix this. From the MAIN MENU of the game go into options, hit R1, I believe and you will see RTTS, or maybe its just PROFILE Settings (can't remember) options, set the settings there. Go save the profile settings under save (again from the MAIN MENU OF THE GAME). Doing this should now save your options so when you play an actual RTTS Game is should remember the settings.

This is correct. The problem is that profile settings don't save automatically when you leave the options screen like user settings do. You have to actually go to that save screen and do it manually. I don't really know that it's a bug, but I listed it a long time back in the bugs-glitches thread. Anyway, it's a one-off thing - once you save it on that screen they'll stick, and you won't have to do it again.

This goes for all modes btw, not just RTTS.

I believe this was also fixed with the patch.

I was hoping it did but after downloading the patch this morning I was still having the problem.


Thanks bcruise, I wasn't sure it was affecting other modes since I'm primarily a RTTS ADDICT.

Yeah, mine won't save either. For whatever reason when I begin my game I am NEVER on quick play in-season.
