    Improved Stances/Deliveries

as someone yet to acquire the game, I am curious about specific batting stance and pitching deliveries for The Show 10'

If you don't mind listing a few, what are some players who either
a.) were not improved/fixed when they should have been
    b.) were given a new stance/delivery

For example, were there any changes to: Pujols, Longoria, Beltran, Ichiro or Lincecum.

overall, how satisfied are you with this aspect? are there a decent number of additions/changes?

thanks for reading- have a good one

Can't say for certain about your listed players except Beltran, and his is the same...and it's not right.

He's more spread out and doesn't keep the bat where they have it in the game...I find Torii Hunter's stance in the game is almost spot-on for Beltran.

Wright's is ok but they still have him waggle the bat far too much, which is a bit strange considering he was the cover boy in '07. Reyes' got a little love (I think) but it's still a bit off...he bends over more than he does in the game....

        Re: Improved Stances/Deliveries

I've been going through all the teams to look for new stances added, and the majority of the new stances that I have found this year have been younger players. I'll list off all the people that I have found to have a different one from '09.

        C Matt Wieters Orioles
        LF Nolan Reimold Orioles
        2B Aaron Hill Blue Jays
        CF Denard Span Twins
        C Joe Mauer Twins
        LF Jason Kubel Twins
        2B Gordon Beckham White Sox
        RF Alex Rios White Sox
        1B Mark Kotsay White Sox
        1B Matt LaPorta Indians
        LF Scott Podsednik Royals
        1B Jake Fox Athletics
        C Kurt Suzuki Athletics
        3B Eric Chavez Athletics
        RF Nelson Cruz Rangers
        1B Chris Davis Rangers
        2B Ian Kinsler Rangers
        C Jarrod Saltalamaccia Rangers
        LF David Murphy Rangers
        LF Chris Coglan Marlins
        RF Cody Ross Marlins

These are all the ones I have found so far. I have gone through all the AL, and Braves and Marlins of the NL. Some of these might be the same as in '09 but I think most are new.

Also, some of these the stance might not be much different, but what is different is the pre-swing (not sure what to call it).

          Manny Ramirez: Improved
          Casey Blake: Improved
Russell Martin: Stayed the same and needs to be improved.

Martin's stance is ridiculous and has been the same since 07.

I couldn't agree with you more.....I always change it to Frank Catalanotto...........Take a look and see if you like it

I also suggest Ian Stewart for Ethier for the 2nd year in a row

BTW I also love Blake & Manny's improved stances

                  Re: Improved Stances/Deliveries

I really appreciate the feedback- thanks. My plan, upon getting the game, is to edit everyones stance/delivery to my liking, somehow get guys like Heyward/Strasburg into the game (Knight...), upload a good selection of tunes and chants, and then devote myself to a franchise all season long.

                  I can't wait.

I don't think there are any slingshot deliveries(see: Greinke, Robertson in '09)
