Spring Ball started today, so I thought it was about time for a new thread (Psy can change the title if he wants). So this post isn't completely useless, here is our star recruit from this past year having a conversation with a baby in straight baby talk

Re: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
Maybe Forcier could be in the discussion next year or the year after, don't think he is ready for that now though.
I don't think just getting to bowl game will be good enough, if they only go 6-6 to save Rodriguez's job. At least for me 6-6 would not be good enough, . I think 7 or 8 is reasonable. 2 out of 3 against ND, OSU and MSU would be a nice plus as well. I don't think I could stand three straight losses to MSU.
The back 7 of the defense will really be what makes or breaks this season. With so much inexperience in the secondary, even though there isn't a lack of talent their now and not knowing what to expect out of the linebackers. I am pretty confident the offense and front four of the defense will be good.My Teams

Re: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
I think they have to win 7 to save his job - unless they win 6 and one of them is OSU. You guys have a tough schedule though.
@ND
@PSU
@OSU
@ Purdue
MSU, Iowa and Wisky at home.
should have 4 gimmes with UConn, UMass, BGSU, and Indiana
should beat Illinois at home - then need two of those 7 to keep Rodriguez IMO.Comment

Re: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
Good information coming from The Wolverine today that Michigan may finally play a night game. In 2011 when Notre Dame comes back to Ann Arbor it will in fact be a true night game. They are saying that it could officially be announced within the next few weeks.
I hope to God that this finally happens. I have been wanting Michigan to host a night game for quite some time now. I went to Iowa last fall when UM played there at night and absolutely loved the atmosphere.
I really think this is going to happen sooner than later. For one Rich Rod wants it and with Dave Brandon now the Athletic Director I would say chances are good it will get done.Comment

Re: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
I can already see the oldheads calling for RichRod's and the AD's head if it's a night game. Personally, the OTs from Mich/MSU back in '04 was the best I heard Michigan Stadium ever be.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Re: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
There is no way in hell that I will be missing this game, I can`t wait.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan Athletic Director Dave Brandon announced today (Thursday, March 18) a historic night football game at Michigan Stadium between the Wolverines and Notre Dame on Sept. 10, 2011. It will be the first-ever primetime game played at home in the history of Michigan football.
This will be the first meeting between the Wolverines and Irish in primetime since a 1990 matchup of top-five teams in South Bend. ESPN or ESPN2 will broadcast the game nationally starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
"This will be an unprecedented game day atmosphere that our fans have not experienced at Michigan Stadium," said Brandon. "It's a great opportunity to showcase our program, university and Ann Arbor to a primetime viewing audience. This also adds a new chapter to the storied rivalry between our two great programs."
"Our players have always enjoyed playing night games and I think it's something that our fans will truly enjoy and embrace," said Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez. "I expect the atmosphere will be electric for this matchup at the Big House."
U-M played three night games at Notre Dame during a nine-year span, losing all three contests by less than a touchdown in South Bend. The 1990 contest featured a pair of top-five teams, with the top-ranked Irish edging out the fourth-ranked Wolverines, 28-24, on a touchdown pass with less than two minutes remaining.Comment
