dos the CPU on pro hit homers off you?

i have played about 7 games and havent seen one yet, mind you i have been using above average pitchers which is pretty relistic. i also barly give up doubles pure singles on pro, cpu is defently not having a problem hitting lol i give up enough hits.

question 2) just wondering how all star default sliders play? thinking about trying it tonight.

I'm using Blazzen's Sliders I think and I've given up like 3 or 4 homers in the 4 games I've played with these sliders I think. I've also given up a triple once or twice and a few doubles, but overall, the AI doesn't get that many hits off me unless I'm using a crappy pitcher. Pitched a complete game shutout with Zambrano, then came out with my #5 pitcher and got rocked. But yeah, they homer just as much as me with those sliders. Pretty nice.

I've had a handful. Teixiera and A-Rod went back to back on me in the World Series (me as the Cardinals) in Game 6.

Played about 10-12 games on Pro and have yet to give up an AI homer. I mis-played a ball in the OF into a triple for Victorino, but other than that, I've only seen a few doubles and loads of singles. And 0 dingers.

As for batting, I've averaged about 1-2/game with the Yankees on PRO, but haven't hit a single HR in the 2 or 3 games I've played as the Reds.

You should try Blazzen's sliders. It's almost inevitable that you'll give up a home run if you're not using a stud pitcher.

Are they on 2kShare? I've not dl'ed any sliders yet -- saw the OS/BigFnJoe's there and had luck with his sliders last time I played 2k (2k8), but I've not tried Blazzen's. Thanks for the tip.

I have yet to see the CPU hit a homer off me. I cranked the CPU power all the way up to 100 today, so I'll see if that helps. If it doesn't, I may start letting the CPU take over my pitching or super sim the pitching because it's getting too easy to pitch shutouts.

I think one of the big problems is that it's too easy to have pinpoint accuracy while pitching, so it's very hard for the CPU to hit for power when I'm constantly nibbling at the bottom corners. They need to make it so it's harder to be accurate so that some of the pitches actually catch the heart of the plate and sail up in the zone on accident like they do in real life.
