How do I mute other peoples mics ?
 

I don't have a bluetooth headset hooked up to my PS3, but I can still hear other people's if they do.

Is there anyway to mute them? :confused:

Most of the time it's funny to listen to somebody rant about me, or how the game is broken, or whetever. Other times it's totally obnoxious and I end up muting the TV and listening to my stereo.

d'oh! maybe if EA included an decent instruction booklet that actually explained how the game works.

Here I come to save the day! Not the best fix but here goes:

Turn on you're blutooth headset while playing and just don't wear it. All of his mic sounds will come through the headset speaker (the one that's supposed to be in your ear) instead of the TV. Just let your headset sit on your entertainment center.

You can use an official PS3 blutooth headset or one from a cell phone.

I play on 360, but I assume it is similar for PSN.

Go to recent players or something like that, find your opponents name, and go view profile or something of that nature. Then there should be an option to mute.

I may be right, or totally wrong, so best of luck.

I'm pretty sure you can't do that on the PS3, but I could be wrong.

Pick Up your tv remote hit the mute button. There may be an option in the audio settings in game tho.
