The one I downloaded is by Bookerman77 and its title 2010 top prospects/MLB lineups n rotations. Its the 2nd most downloaded roster on 2kshare. It has Strasburg and Chaplain.

Y3L4RF has been putting out updates every few days.

His latest (uploaded this morning, the 14th) is titled "Over 150 Prospects Perfect For Franchise, Check Out New Sliders TY!!!".

wait for mine, i think it will be good. it wont be perfect, but the top 100 will be there and there will be enough room for whoever DL it to make 50 created players and atleast 50 name edits.

Thanks...I saw his and grabbed them. Haven't really went over them all that well, but at first glance it's good stuff.

He has 2 Ryota Igarashi's, one on the Mets and their AAA team.

appreciate the heads up on that...hadn't noticed that.

also, move hank blalock from FA to the Rays.

i'm using his march 15th roster set.

He has twins for multiple players. He made a CAP for Jason Heyward when he is James Hunter in the game. Same thing for Stephen Strasburg (he is Randall Sanders on the Nats Single-A team)

Here is a very good list I found on the 2k forums.

Still a lot missing but better than nothing.
                  MLB: Texas Rangers
                  NBA: Dallas Mavericks
                  NFL: Dallas Cowboys
                  NHL: Dallas Stars

No disrespect to that person at all, but I downloaded his rosters and noticed that a lot of the top prospects have wrong birthdates and other characteristics. He had Seattle's Dustin Ackley as a RF and throwing left handed, when in reality Ackley is a 2B and bats left and throws right.

I'm not saying his rosters are not well done, but some of his prospects just looked pretty off.

In fairness to him, he got them out quick.

I'm using his base file and going through them and will provide an update. I've noticed a handful of duplicate players as well, so I'm going to see if this file is workable.

KingFelix: what is your ETA on the rosters you're working on? That might have a bearing as to whether or not I continue working on this one. It sounds like your work is solid...

I think another thing to consider is how to economize the use of the limited CAPs and player name edits (to this point). If there are wasted spots then that is another player that can't be added.

No doubt. I definitely appreciate his time and effort on his roster. That was really the only thing that I noticed.

I don't have an ETA right now, bro. I'm going to work on them as much as I can. Since you can only create 50 players, I am going to be very picky on who I create from scratch. I am thinking I'll create the top 50 from Baseball America's list. I am trying to be very thorough with the guys I am creating and reading a lot of scouting profiles.

With a newborn son consuming a lot of my time, I can commit to a couple hours per day working on these. I am not starting my franchise until I'm done and another patch is released by 2K.

I doubt it will be long... It just depends how extensive I get on them.

Also, with the few prospects already in the game (James Hunter, Randall Sanders, etc...), I am just going to drop their attributes to 0 and drop them in the FA pool, so there will be no worries about duplicates.

Does anyone know who has the best list out on where the real minor leaguers are? I know they are spread out all over the place in the wrong organizations.

I've noticed the duplicates as well (Andrew Brackman on the Yankees. Why he is even on the MLB roster I don't know, but he is also in the minors, forgot where).

I've been using his base file, dropping his prospects and grabbing up better ones, while adjusting some ratings. He had a nice idea, but it's obvious he was rushing to get it out...
