    Kyle Farnsworth is a God!

I traded lois castillo for him and use him to setup K-Rod... he is freaking lights out. Then I edit his Stamina (AKA stretched him out) and made him a starter.

9 inning, 11Ks, 5 hits, O runs, 0 BBs, 124 Pitches (took 16 pitches to get last guy out)

He is what Joba should be lol and maybe all this time he should have been a starter.
    Mets in 2011, why not!!

They tried him as a starter. It wasn't pretty.

What's the point of this thread?

You're probably pretty adept at pitching (which means all but the biggest meatballs end up as well placed strikes/balls). You edited him to make him a starter (which turns this into fantasy, not reality).

It's like me saying "yeah well I gave Aroldis Chapman a 99 in his 4sfb and won the Cy Young!"

I don't remember him starting with the Cubs, but the guy has nasty stuff. Nasty Cutter and 95mph fastball but he gets rattled too easy.

most people are giving chapman a 99 velocity in his 4SFB, because he throws it 100 mph

2005 Braves would definitely disagree with you.

He's never been a starter in the MLB, Farnsworth is garbage in real life.

Funny thing about this is if you google "Kyle Farnsworth Starter" you will see that the Royals are trying exactly that this year.....the irony

I use him as a set up every now and then when Jaun Cruz is tired with the Royals. The first 5 games I had him come in he did perform great however now with my team on a losing streak and everything he is not as much consistent as he once was.

He is a good set up however, his fastball is fast and the cutter and slider also come through in some instances.

Re: Kyle Farnsworth is a God!

I bet a LOT of relievers could dominate if you boosted their stamina to make them a starter. But that is the reason why they ARE NOT starters, because they are not good enough to last 6-7 innings. So if you take a guy who can dominate 1-2 innings, and give him the ability to dominate 6-7 innings, then it's not much of a surprise.....

i highly doubt he will sustain that all year. if he can make it good for him, i think its obvious he doesnt have the mental makeup for a setup or closer role

He came into the league as a starter for the Cubs.

Yeah I agree with you OSU, He played pretty well for the Braves in 05 when they had him, but that was probably his best stop anywhere. He came up with the Cubs in 99 and started a full season, then got a few starts in 00 and they converted him after ERAs >5
