Is NCAA 2004 worth it?
 

Is it really worth the 50 bucks to get 2004 if I already have 2003? Why is it worth it? What does everyone else think?

In one word NO!

No its not worth it. If you got 2003 its just going to be a roster upgrade. EA was lazy and did hardly anywork. Looks the same as last yr.

Save your money bro and buy gameday now that will be a major upgrade.

I think it is, this years version is more than a roster upgrade, this year they have SI covers, online play (if you have PS2 and a Network adapter) improved recruiting, more awards and that is just a few improvements.

Seriously though, EA has made some nice solid updates to the game. Granted not as much as has gone into the other major football series (Madden and ESPN) but the game should be worth it. Look through old threads, there are a ton dealing with your exact question and others that talk about all the new features.

I think so. My main problem with the series has always been a lack of feel for the rest of the teams once I move out of the 3 or 4 year period with the initial players. In other words, I don't really know who the great teams and players are unless I got look at all of the stats every week.

Personally, I think the SI covers will help with that immensely......
