Anyone else play the game without adjusting any sliders or anything?

I have yet to adjust any sliders, and I'm now in the World Series with my team (season mode). Granted, MLB 10 The Show is my first game in the series, so I don't really have a great grasp of the sliders yet, but I think the game plays fine out of the box. Is it common for most players to vigorously adjust the game's options or do most people just play it the way it is?

some people spend more time tweaking sliders day by day game after game, trying to find the most perfect balance. That is what somebody here called slider hell, lol. I say play at default for 30 games, then make slight tweaks to adjust to your skill level and what you are seeing from the games....and then just enjoy the game.

I usually have my own personal rule, spend the first 1.5 months tweaking my sliders, and then leave them be for the rest of the year and start playing my season

did you play all 162? In my RTTS i just left them at default and just hit on Rookie. i bumped up power 1 notch at first and now 2 notches, because people on my team have less power but more homeruns than my 1. Im batting .350 so its not like im not putting the ball in play...

I just started a franchise with the most popular OS sliders tonight. Im not very good at the game since this is my first year owning it on PS3, so I cant really judge what needs to be tweaked and what is just me sucking lol

I play hall of fame with default sliders. I get a decent variety of pitching duels and high scoring games, I'm satisfied.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I use default. I play on H.O.F. batting, but I had to switch to all star pitching to I get better. But I am thinknig about rasing the cpu timing just a bit because I feel it is a little too easy to get strikeouts on allstar.
