Is this a HR?
Okay so last night i was in arizona playing as the dbacks with my fantasy team and it was tied 1-1 in the 9th with 2 outs left...Up steps Carlos Pena and he uppercuts a line drive down the right field line and it hits the yellow pad below the wall/fence and they called it a walk off hr. I didnt know that counts as a HR though does it?My online ID for PS3 is Brewersfan08

Re: Is this a HR?
As in
Over the wall
Yellow Pad
..............<----------------- You hit it between the wall and the yellow padding on the top?
Wall
Warningtrack
That shouldn't be a hr. As shown with Yankees stadium last year when Damon went to catch the ball and it got stuck on top of it. It has to go over the wall or hit the foul poll to be a hr. If it hits the top of the wall and bounces over into the stands its a hr. If it hits the top or side facing the field and bounces back it is not a hr.Comment

Re: Is this a HR?
Need more clarification there. Did the ball go out of play? Where exactly did it hit? Every stadium has a different set of ground rules. I'm looking at both Chase Field's ground rules and a zoom in of the right field fence in game, trying to recreate it and having some trouble based on your description.
If it helps you out, here's the link for Chase Field ground rules:

Re: Is this a HR?
Ok well you know where the foul pole meets the wall then the pole turns into a yellow pad going down to the ground...the ball hit that yellow pad and that's all i could see then it turned into a cutscene with pena celebrating. Also didn't save the replay because it didn't get far enough as to where the ball hit. It just stopped when the ball was about to hit the foul pad. Hope this clarifies the situation a bit better...My online ID for PS3 is Brewersfan08

Re: Is this a HR?
Below the foul pole, against the yellow padding sounds like a fair ball, still in play. Should be playable by the OF at that point and a likely double. Without the video it is tough to say though.
