No HR cam for me, they should take this out of the game next year. It looks ridiculous.

That's that espn nonsense. Showing the guy posing, instead of where the damn ball is going.

I kind of like it, especially when playing against a buddy. You know its gone and once you hit it you can start the trash talking.

i am on the no side of this question i love seeing where the ball lands. and something bout watching the flight of the ball makes it seem more realistic. playing baseball when someone hit a bomb off our pitcher i am pretty confident no one was watching the batter pose...

For the most part I say no, but there is something about the angle on home runs I'm not feeling. Maybe it's the fact when a ball is really gone in real life, the camera focuses more on the bleachers.

It almost feels like the camera is following the field more than the ball. Is it just me on that?

Also, is anyone playing more on broadcast, real time, real time with or without replays, etc?

              Re: HR Cam....Yes or No??

i've only hit one HR where i've got the cam this year so far....if it doesn't look like it's gonna be a definite shot, the camera follows the ball....i hit a 417 footer which got a cam shot on it, but i find it quit rare even when it's on. i like it cos it makes me feel good when i do it....i don't like it when the cpu does it to me!

I'm probably in the minority, but I like the HR cam. Like someone said before, it doesn't always do it.

The issue I've found is that the camera doesn't follow the ball right and just shows the wall in parks with high walls. ie fenway

I like it because it doesn't happen every time, only when there's no question the ball is going out. Let's face it, sometimes guys in the majors know they hit a jack the second it leaves the bat. The HR cam simulates those undeniable dingers quite nicely, IMO.

I like it. I love seeing Griffey drop the bat and pose a bit after hitting a big homerun. I don't like it when I up big, but something about the cam when you hit a clutch bomb is neat.

No home run cam. No doubters are still no doubters. I also like the suspense of not knowing if its gonna get out of the park or not.

                          Re: HR Cam....Yes or No??

It's a long season, so it's nice to have options. Can switch it up if you want to give it a new feel.

I just hit a walk-off homer with Span against the Red Sox. Had no HR cam on, and I thought it would hit the wall. It was long gone, so it did feel like something was missing without the home run camera. I was surprised it went out.

On another note, I had it on broadcast and saw the homeplate celebration. I'm wondering if you still get some sort of celebration had it been on "Real Time." I'm guessing the celebration is a "canned annimation."

Why should they take it out for next year?...Because you don't like it?...Turn it off! jesus!! What's the big deal. The option is there to turn it off if its so ridculous to you, so I don't understand you're logic here as to why it should be taken out.

Sony, please don't listen to this guy!!..lol
