Wow NCAA 07

I just downloaded NCAA 07's demo again and it is amazing. Its shocking how the series has changed. In 07 the players leaned when turning, couldn't turn on a dime, etc It feels a lot more realistic than NCAA 10 does. Everything in this game feels right compared to 10. It also does presentation right. It had pre-snap camera work that shows the QB walking to the line with his stats displayed. It has a camera for when the offense hurries up.

All in all this game just seems like the better football game. It also has better crowd noises than 10 does. The game basically looks like what 11 is striding to be, but the lighting in 11 is better.

Trust me, go download the NCAA 07 demo. It will shock you. To me 07 plays like what 11 is going for. If 11 feels like 07, I'll be happy, but I am sure that 11 will be leaps better. 11 also had the vision cone in it, something I really want back badly. Earlier I looked off a safety and then through it deep to the uncovered WR and it just felt right. I also had the CPU play me a tough game in the demo and I didn't feel cheated once. The game just lacks what 10 brought to the table with a pocket and other additions similar to that. Overall though, I would say 07 is better gameplay wise which is a good sign because a lot of the videos of 11 remind me of the 07 demo.

I thought about picking up 07 just for the heck of it since it costs about $2 now. I know I still play 08 sometimes because I greatly prefer it over 09 and 10. At least 08 had defense, and the turnovers were toned down greatly after it was eventually patched.

Go pick up a copy of the game and then tell us how you feel, . I played the game the other day, it's really not good. Has some things int it that Tiburon should've expanded on, but it's definitely not good.

The one thing that kills me about NCAA 07 for 360, is that they were on the road to having a strong presentation presence, and then the following year they just stripped it all and never tried to expand on it. I never understood the thinking there.

I seem to remember thinking NCAA '07 was decent. I never bought it but I played it at a friends house and enjoyed it for the most part. Then I bought '08 and projectile vomited all over my TV.

To each their own. I think it feels more realistic than NCAA 10, but you can definitely tell it was older. Its like 2k5 vs Madden 10. 2k5 did things a little better here and there, but it is showing its age badly.

To me, 2007 on the 360 was a extended demo. Wasn't that the first edition of NCAA football for next generation? It had zero re-play value. Maybe you're talking about the PS2 version.

Completely disagree, thought NCAA 07 was bad all the way around. Also you said NCAA 10 has a pocket , but NCAA 10 while having a slight pocket still doesn't have a very good one at all. The only reason it is better than NCAA 07 in that area is because NCAA 07 had virtually no pocket.
