Pirates let their catcher pitch one AB!?

Yeah. In my franchise. Showed up in the box score but not the season stats.

    rondo...that's probably the bullpen glitch.
For some reason...some catchers wind up in the bullpen(this is from pre-franchise in the roster itself.....just not noticed)...if you move them to the FA list and then back(I haven't tried moving to different levels instead).....he will be removed from the pen.

Hmm. Yeah they had Jason Jaramillo pinch hit in the 11th then he pitched to the first batter of mine in the 12th. This was my franchise using the OSV1 rosters.

Ahhh, that explains it! I was wondering why my AAA had two games pitched (simmed). He also managed to have a 1-0 record....

Yeah,....I'm "catching" these as I go through the teams for v2.
Weird little glitch...good think it's something that's easily fixed.

Knight, I guess this might fit a little here as well. When I started my franchise with the OS Rosters, Henry Rodriguez, a RP, was also sitting on my bench in AAA. I had to send him down and then bring him back up to get him out of there. Just thought you would like to know if you are going through rosters to find things like this.

              Count me confused.

So what is causing this and how do you fix this? How do you know what catchers it happens with? I thought this was a pre patch issue....

This was a small roster glitch that was pointed out just after release when guys started fooling with rosters. It's just catchers (less than a dozen of them that showed up in the RP window. Once they are sent down, brought up it corrects itself and puts the C on the bench. The glitch doesn't occur again.

Hmmm. The thing is Jason Jaramillo was never in the RP window. He just started to pitch after being a pinch hitter the inning before.

I don't think you see it in the game...
You would just see it in the roster control screen(I think)
