Will this be the year we finally get the gameplay we've always wanted?

We know gameplay is the main focus this year and from what Ive seen this year on OS, this is what everyone is mostly concerned about. Lets take a look at a thread started 2 years ago by Ian on what the community wanted in Madden.

Gameplay / Animation
1. Deliver a more compelling 1-player experience - fix CPU play-calling bugs, make them much better at running the ball, get rid of "robo-QB", have them adapt and change to match what you are running
2. More sliders and options - CPU sliders, game speed, fatigue, injuries
3. OL/DL re-vamp - Edge rushing, more double teams, more accurate chips, less "suction", true pocket forming
4. WR/DB re-vamp - More interaction downfield, better head tracking, only play the ball that you see
5. Signature styles & animations: Passing, running, kicking, etc
6. Much more animation variety: More tackles, catches, swats; replace animations that have been around for a long time
7. Gang tackles: More of them, make them better, add more players
8. New ratings, make existing ratings matter more: Along with making them more prevalent, also possibly expose what each one actually does. New QB ratings are highly requested
9. Re-vamp kicking: Universally agreed that it's too automatic and not very stressful.
10. Make user-catching easier: With the removal of strafe catching, many people are struggling to user catch and would like it to be balanced so you can still "go up and get it"

Granted a lot of these issues have been addressed by the team, however they don't seem to work the way they should. The Madden team has had this list for almost 2 dev cycles now. Do you think Madden 11 will finally nail what this game needs in terms of gameplay or will we have to wait another year to play a solid football game?

possibly. if they can get through the gameplay threads while people in the franchise options threads threaten to quit buying or the people in the sock and cleat color threads threaten to stop buying. its a wonder they dont just drop back and punt the whole thing.

You kidding me? crybabies these days are to worried about the looks of the game, always crying about presentation (not saying thats not a important issue with madden here) and if there 3rd string WR doesn't have on the right socks or helmet oh my god don't get em started.

God forbid, by now with all the resources EA has, we can't have our cake and eat it too.

No,...because no game will ever be perfect. It is kind of like a hot girl. You meet a hot girl who you think is perfect and you find out that she has a johnson that is bigger than yours. The point is that nothing is perfect.
