ANy News on a patch for Tecmo Bowl Throwback?

I heard that there wasn't gonna be a patch but anyone know for sure, to fix the lag online? Just wondering.

Last I read was no patch. I quit playing because of it. I'd still be playing online if they fixed the horrendous lag.
