Not to have LaDainian Tomlinson on the Chargers this year, best of luck to him in New York. Imo the best player that we've ever had here.

Couple of Vid Highlights I found to remember him as a bolt.

I know it will be really wierd watching a chargers game with ryan mathews and no LT.

However i wish him no luck at all in new york and hope he doesnt even gain 2 yards/

Shame the Chargers could never get to the SB when they had those good seasons a few years back. Would have much rather them win than the Steelers, Pats or Colts.

Will it be wierder seeing LT in New York or McNabb in Washington? That's the same division, going from Philly to Washington.

I really grew fond of LT when I saw him rip up the Patriots the year after they won the Super Bowl. There's a few highlights from that game in the first video posted. From there on, LT became a household name.

What stands out to me is how much his teammates seemed to like him. When he broke the scoring record, all the guys came out to carry him around. If only they could've done that as he clutched the Lombardi Trophy...

Wish him luck this year in NY. I may be a Buffalo Bills fan, but if the Jets win it all, I wouldn't be too upset. It'd be a great story to have him get his few carries a game and ride off into the sunset with a Super Bowl ring.

Yeah I've always liked LT, he seemed like a good guy and a good teammate. I wish him the best in New York.

And he just looked cool as hell in his Chargers uniform with his dark visor.

Yeah I'd like to see the Jets face the Vikings in the SB. I doubt the Jags have much more than a shot at wildcard since they're still in rebuilding mode, and just want to see anyone outside of the AFC South play in it besides the Steelers or Patriots.

LT's style reminds so much of Emmitt Smith in that he was not excellent at anything but far above average at everything: hands, pass protection, vision, power, speed, etc. Where they both excelled was that initial decision making in they'd survey the field, find a hole with their great vision, make that hard cut and go for positive gains regardless of what's going on around them. Where they differ is LT's top end speed in that once he was in the open field he was gone, but one thing I did notice in his videos was that he took a lot of hits whereas Emmitt rarely gave a defender a clear shot at him due to his super low level center of gravity.

Definitely going to be weird. LT is the ENTIRE reason I started watching football in the first place and basically the reason I became a charger fan. Been watching him since 04, and I have a lot of great memories watching but, the one of the best ones I remember was LT in OT against "BK's cheapshots" aka the Titans lol.

That was a game to remember!

I'm going to miss the jersey, the visor, and the celebration. I hated that he didn't get a ring while he was there in a uniform. Even If he did win a SB some where else he'll always be remembered as a charger because, 100% of his legacy is with the chargers. I read a article and AJ stated that his career wouldn't be in vain so If he doesn't get on any where else I'm sure AJ will do something similar to what the Saints did.
