New Playoff OT rules
 

Has anyone heard if the new OT rules will be in Madden 11. Also I heard the commissioner is going to put to a vote this week the new Playoff OT rules for the regular season. If the vote passes will the developers have time to implement it into Madden 11?

I'm guessing the new OT rules will ship with the game..as far as the Playoff OT rules if they are implemented they can be added through a patch if a decision is not made before the game goes gold.

Haven't heard anything on this subject. Great question and this is definitely a "big picture" feature that should be covered at some point.

Aka, the "we need to give Hall of Fame QB's like Favre second chances in OT" rule.....:D


If the rule passes, it should be in M11. If not on release day, possibly patched in later..

No need to put the smiley up...thats EXACTLY what it is. Last two of the last 3 OT playoff games had Favre and Manning...only thing that explains that stupid *** rule.

Hope it's in the game though, just for realism sake.

There has been no news on it yet. But I'm sure once E3 is here then every bit of info will be out about madden 11. But no info yet.
