    LETS TALK: HOMECOURT ADVANTAGE

ok. So whats the best method of implementing homecourt advantage. More than just crowd noises. the ability of the hometeam to be better at home is important. We know phoenix scores 112 at home 108 on the road, and shot 50% @home, and 48% on the road. So it's only a few % points but tends to make a difference in how well good teams play vs. the poor teams. However New Jersey being the worst team in the league won 7 of it's 12 wins at home. I think giving the home teams some sort of shooting % boost, along with and aggressive/to the basket would be a fair way to do it, since home teams tend to shoot a few more free throws as well. Maybe a 6-10 % boost would equate? Whatta you guys think?

    Re: LETS TALK: HOMECOURT ADVANTAGE

home court imo has nothing to do with shooting percentages. If anything it has to do with the home team working harder because of their crowd. Also the home team getting rattled and forcing turnovers. I wish we could just have the CH 2K8 crowd meter so home court advantage could be felt.

But what I'd do for sliders is possibly up the stealing of the home team, and their defense by a little bit, and lower the offensive awareness of the away team.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

While they're at it, they NEED to make the All Star Game play on a neutral court. They have neutral courts on CH2k8, so why is this so difficult to implement?

Another nice touch would be that All Star locations should switch every year in Association, and it would be HELLA nice if you had a player playing for the host city, and he got a little extra cheers. All Star Games period need to have every introduced.

So you don't see that teams shoot a better percentage at home than on the road? I mean look at channing fry in this phoenix/lakers series? Rattled forcing turnovers? this is not college tho. But thats cool.

Home court players have their ratings sightly boosted. You notice a huge differences. Home court players get away with a lot more. You make more shots

It might just be me but it seems like homecourt advantage is in 2K9. I alway lose more games on the road. For instance in my current season I'm 20 - 11....... 13-3 @home......7-8 on road.

In 2k9 it was really really bad. CPU teammates made too many plays on defense for the user and your players wouldn't miss at home. This year I feel as though they have found that meduim ground we always talk about.

I'm going to pay more attention in my next few games. I just happened to look at my W-L one day, but I never really think about it when I'm actually playing the game (2K9).

I've been experiencing a home court DISADVANTAGE in my franchise. My nightmarish 30% shooting games always seem to occur at home.

Oh I think about big time. One of the my biggest pet pevees. I know when I'm home. I can BS around and take more chances. But when I'm away. I play more tight. I call more plays. Selective push the ball. I gamble more on defense. There is a huge difference.

In my leagues..my first lost are usually on the road. One of the things to montior...is the crowd.

Crowd needs to be a lot better for 2k11. Needs to be similar to Live 10s especially in the playoffs.

The only homecourt advantage in this game is the crowd. The things yall think happen only away is bc the crowd gets to yall heads and yall start makin stupid decisions. That's all it is. I give my homie homecourt more times than not so I would know
