Gamestop just got confirmation from 505games to sell the game early on the 29th (Tomorrow) This thread is also on the official forums http://forum.backbreakergame.com/showthread.php?t=6604

it doesn't matter if you preordered it or not, you can still get it tomorrow

I can confirm this!!! Just talked to my local Gamestop and they said I could come pick up the game tomorrow... stinks there is no demo for the PS3 though. But I am crossing my fingers that it is a good game!

I'm just going to do what I did with The Show, then. I'll buy the game from Gamestop and play it, then buy the game from Best Buy and return that unopened one to Gamestop. It's bulletproof.

EDIT: Actually, I'm traveling this weekend so it might not even be worth it.

I'm just going to do what I did with The Show, then. I'll buy the game from Gamestop and play it, then buy the game from Best Buy and return that unopened one to Gamestop. It's bulletproof.

This is a good idea, I might have to do this myself. I preordered on Amazon and I'm guessing it's already in the mail. I think I'll go buy from Gamestop and then return the Amazon copy to them once I get it.

This is a good idea, I might have to do this myself. I preordered on Amazon and I'm guessing it's already in the mail. I think I'll go buy from Gamestop and then return the Amazon copy to them once I get it.

Check your order on Amazon. I was able to cancel mine.

If your Amazon order hasn't shipped(they send you a separate email saying that it shipped btw) then you can still cancel it.

do you guys think this has anything to do with there not being a PS3 demo yet. I know many of you are enjoying the demo but there seems to be something else going on. Maybe they are trying to get in front of negative reviews from the Madden faithful
