Here it is a video dynasty with a twist: The goal is not to win but simply to get Canada to qualify for the World Cup Final in South Africa for only the second time in the countryโs history using 2010 Fifa World Cup on the Playstation 3.
To do that Iโll have to get Canada to finish in the top three in the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) regional World Cup qualification zone.
If youโve seen me play FIFA in my Liverpool FIFA 09 dynasty you know that wonโt be an easy task for me.
In 2010 FIFA World Cup the game starts CONCACAF qualification in the third round. Thatโs kind of bogus in my opinion. Iโll be starting CONCAFAF qualifying right from round one with all of your favourite small countries like Turks and Caicos Islands, Belize and the Barbados. Iโll play some exhibition games to determine the teams that advance to the second round. Iโll be using the real CONCACAF matchups for the first round. Iโll also play the real friendlies Canada played before they began CONCACAF qualifying.
Iโll do a mock question and answer to set the stage and cover some questions you may have.
Q. Donโt you have too many dynasties already?
A. Yeah, I probably do. But Iโve completed my FIFA 09 Liverpool dynasty although I havenโt posted all the videos and stories. Youโll see those over the next couple of months.
Q. Will you be able to complete this dynasty before the end of the real World Cup? How about the end of the summer?
A. Probably not. You know how I drag these dynasties out.
Q. What setting will you use?
A. Iโll try professional. If Iโm too terrible Iโll bump it down to semi-pro. I will be playing nine minute halves, slow game speed.
Q. Why Canada?
A. Thatโs my country.
