World League

[Figment]

Started working on my world league, I will post a picture of the team when I complete them.

I am naming these teams after their country and locating them in a city (with the exception of the USA and Canada teams they will be a city located in a country since they aren't the only teams in their country) so for example the team name will be Australia and the location will be Sydney.

All logos will be the country flag and jerseys will be based on country flags and/or their rugby team. All endzones are just stretched out country flags or a variation.

My entire league is listed below, those highlighted in green have been completed and a picture is in the thread.

First 4 teams. Japans endzone is slightly different but I think for obvious reasons. Japans helmet could have been awesome if I could have done the rays all the way around but whatever.

Just moved over my Chicago Dynasty from my created league to represent Chicago in this league except I changed the team name to Chicago and Location to America. The endzone is a stretched out Chicago flag. For those of you who haven't seen this team here it is.

New Zealand modeled after the "All Blacks" rugby team and Russia made with the soviet colors and flag.

EDIT: Never mind, I didn't look at all the pictures and they invalidated my point.

However, it looks like all your teams have 22 Golds (except Australia while looks to have none), are all your teams going to have 22 Golds or will there be some disparity in the end?

I was just going to do 22 golds per team just to make everyone equal and keep the game more difficult. I wasn't aware I didn't give Australia 22 golds but they have it now.

If you really want I can. I was just putting them up for people to see. It probably wont be done soon, I just get into moods every once in a while and do a bunch of teams.

I am going to start back up on these tomorrow but I don't want anyone getting their hopes up for a release very soon. I will most likely do about 6 this week then stop playing the game again for another week as I quite often go game to game.

I am looking at doing the following teams next:

Brazil
Iraq
Egypt
Canada (one or both of them)
Jamaica.

I am kind of stumped on what colors and flag (or logo) to do for Los Angeles and New York, if anyone has some Ideas please post.

A - I don't think flags really work very well if you have multiple teams from the same country. I'd take the WLAF approach and just treat them like normal teams... Tokyo Dragons, Sydney Kangaroos or whatever instead of using the countries. But that's just me.

B - Statue of Liberty for NY, an Eagle for LA (if the teams must be patriotic)

A- good idea but in the end this is just how I want to do the league. But whenever I post it feel free to change it and repost it. There won't be any duplicate logos (flags) because I only have 2 multiple team countries. There are simaler flags such as Australia and new Zealand but no doubles

B- the statue of liberty is perfect, probably hard, but perfect. I will keep the eagle in mind but I am looking for something iconic to the region, such as the Sears tower or statue of liberty.
