Orioles lose first game, 5-4
Lost our first game. Stephan Montag got the loss in the bottom of the 10th, as he gave up a Homer to Longoria with 1 out. He was on a roll, with 3 strike outs in 1.1 IP. Drew Johnson was good overall, striking out 4 (or 5), but he gave up 3 in the 5th to tie it up for them.
Larry Hale had a good game, scoring 1 and driving in two on a RBI Triple. I think the reason we lost was only 1 extra base hit. We need to improve.
Nick Anderson also had a good game, scoring 1 run and hitting safely 3 times, including two bloop singles into left.
Isaac Hill starts tomorrow as the O's look to bounce back. Erig is going to have a good year if he keeps it up, as he smoked a couple of balls, one of which was caught and the other a sinking liner into center for a hit. I'm trying out something new with him, only using power swings with less than 2 strikes, or 2 strike counts with a correctly guessed pitch.
I will write in a better format and better stories as time goes on.

O's Take game 2 1-0, look to win series.
Won the game 1-0 on 8 strong from Isaac Hill, Montag got the save. The offensive production came from Larry Hale again, driving in Catalano after a lead off walk. All in All, not to many problems I have with this game, as we won. I'm hoping to get a bit more offense in the rubber game tomorrow.

Bummer to see I blew the first game of the year! Well at least I rebounded and picked up the save the next day.

Orioles win thriller 9-8
Orioles take the rubber game behind the strength of Trevor Larson and Jerry Reynolds, who both homered. Montag got his 2nd save of the season, and he has seemed to put the first game behind him. The pitching wasn't as strong as I would have liked, and I'm still waiting for the elusive homer with Errig, but it will come with time.
