OS Complete Minors Community Roster

I thought it might be cool to do this so, anyone who wants to do a team just list it and we can send the file to each other. I will be done with the Cubs soon, I know the Pirates have been taken but that's it. Just list the team you want and we will do it in order that you post!

to those that are wondering i will be doing the pirates roster. i have a few questions. how are we going to determine the potential ratings??? should we like count how many A potential players there are in the set and then determine which prospects get the A potential or what.

Thats a good question. I can do that, I will do pitchers and hitters right now. We also get I believe 15 created players that are A prospects.

In total that gives us 30 total A prospects for position players and 44 A rated pitchers.

For the Cubs, I definitely think Vitters and Jackson deserve A ratings for position players. As for pitchers, maybe Chris Carpenter or Jay Jackson. I have to redo the Cubs because we need to do the potential ratings better. Let me know what you think for the Cubs prospects if you have any suggestions.

About the Cubs:

Cashner is really the only guy who should be given an A on the Cubs, but I wouldn't put him that highly personally. No one else in that system deserves more than a B. Brett Jackson is nice, but still a high B for me. Jay Jackson is overrated in my opinion and in the bullpen now (supposed to be back soon, but we'll see). Hak-Ju Lee is good, but a B as well. Starlin would be an A if he weren't already in the roster. I've always been a Vitters apologist, but defensive reports are uninspiring and until he either walks more or develops his power he is going to just hit for an empty average. I would give him a B (I know some wouldn't give him that), but definitely not an A in my book.

i think i agree. after looking a little more into vitters, he doesn't deserve an A potential rating. there is definitely someone out there that deserves an A before vitters.
