Looks like steroids are allowed in this game, judging by that first Cena/Rock screenshot. Holy Cow!
I love sports of all sorts. I play sports and racing games for the most part, but rarely online. I'm not actually good, see.

I like that look better. Wrestling seems like a fantasy world storyline anyway, may as well go with it and accentuate its strengths.

so this implies that SvR is "sim wrestling"?

This isn't SmackDown vs. Raw, guys. This is WWE All-Stars, which is a totally different game that they are working on. An arcade style game, if you will.

the other night i busted out my old n64 and played some WWF No Mercy. They need to just make the game like that with a creative storyline/season mode and next gen graphics. The simplistic controls system worked great with the way the guys reacted in the game. Everything looked as realistic as they could do with that system.

No Mercy and WCW Revenge were the best games.

Yep..haven't loved (or really bought) a wrestling game since Revenge/Mercy. If they ever released a game with semi normal graphics and the control scheme of the 64 days, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

IDK? Wrestling characters are just lame anymore.

This is legends of wrestlemania after you import the svr roster only more arcadey than that. Reminds me of Wrestlemania the arcade game from the mid 90's. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Undertaker drop a real tombstone on someone's head or HBK's bed from the heartbreak hotel fall on someone from the sky. Nothing like having a never ending series of 1 minute matches.
