I've looked around the forums here and on other sites couldn't find any info. Has anyone heard if there will be a coach mode option for 2011, or a qb auto pass option as they had in 2010? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well, actually, no. In last gen it was in but was missing from next gen until last year when they introduced "QB auto throw" mode.
There has never been a true coach mode in NCAA (unlike Madden that, last gen, did have a real honest-to-goodness coach mode).
And OP, don't sweat it. Forums like this are for asking questions. Ask all the simple questions or complex ones you want. That's what this is all about.Comment

I skipped 2010 (first time in years) but if they at least keep QB auto throw and add the broadcast camera angle I'll be back; that's the best way to play 'coach mode'. I'd love to see a 'coach mode' online dynasty--I'd join that in a heart beat.Comment

If you want to have auto qb pass, just lock onto an offensive linemen or RB or anybody but the QB, and the QB will work his magic. I do this all the time when I play with friends since we both want to be the QB"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. FYI...QB Auto-throw mode is in the demo (under controller options). That will give you an idea of what passes for coach mode in NCAA.Comment

I ran one last year with about 5-6 other guys from Utopia. We ran it like College Hoops Legacy mode where you had to work your way up the ranks while coach moding. It was tough but fun...Comment

Just don't understand why this isn't a basic function in all sports games. I could get a lot of the older guys in my family and friends who are football fans but lack stick skills to play these games if they'd put in a true coach mode. It's there, just make it an option. It's just the cpu playing itself with someone else calling plays. Still blows my mind to this day that EA can't manage to put this in a game. Not like it would be taxing on their dev staff.Comment
