I think he said he will decide by ;une 27th...as a Laker fan, I would love to see him stay but really what more does he have to prove...11 rings, 1 as a player...and I've heard his back n knees r getting worse so y not retire, sit on your money n glory, and chill...he's don enough...to answer your question lol: Yes I do think he returns tho

I'd like him to stay, hopefully to see him not winning a title next season. I have a feeling there's gonna be a new power house next season...we'll see...

i think there paying 12 mil and they want him to take 3 mil... he always harped on the $$$ all season when people brought that up of him coming back. With the fact he has nothing to prove , he might need the $$$ to stick around this time...

I would love to see him get another 3peat, and I think he will be back as long as his body can hold up for another season.

But a part of me would like to see a new coach running the Lakers too. I really want to see how Kobe and the rest of the guys look in the offenses used by todays teams.

Watching the Celtics play and execute the plays they ran was fun to watch would love to see the Lakers running a more up to date offense..

Phil ain't going nowhere. He, like Kobe, want to cement their status as "greatest ever",whether it be as coach or player. 4 3-Peats is too alluring to just throw away. Make no mistake about it, barring injury to Kobe or Pau, the Lakers are HEAVY title favorites for the next 2-3 seasons.

Phil Jackson is debating whether or not he will remain head coach of the Lakers for the 10-11 season, but his daughter Chelsea expects him to retire.
