Yep that seems to be one of the better places he could go. At least if Flacco gets injured for any stretch of time Bulger won't have to worry about getting his bell rung.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Marc Bulger signs 1 year deal with Ravens
Yeah like deaduck said, that's not the case here. Bulger isn't what he used to be. He's now a good backup, average starter. A guy who can get you through a stretch of games while your starter is injured, but not someone you want leading your team through a full 16 game season. Good signing for the Ravens.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

No idea why you think he'd be in the running for the starting job. As for Troy Smith, he wants to go somewhere he can start. I'm surprised he's still on the team now but he'll be gone before the season starts. I wish him luck.Comment

Haha you got a former number one overall in Troy Smith seating on the bench. What don't the coaches trust this guy are something. What a waste of a number one pick down the drane. Plus you bring in guy in March Bulger who can't stay healthy to say his life over the past few years and you bring him in as backup instead of trusting in a former #1 overall. What ashame.

I often wonder why I don't have a higher post count than some of the cats on here....then I see some stuff and realize....maybe I'm good with debating some of the better heads on here and keeping the count low.Haha you got a former number one overall in Troy Smith seating on the bench. First of all, like many others said Troy Smith was not a #1 pick. He was drafted in like the 6th or 7th round.Haha you got a former number one overall in Troy Smith seating on the bench. Second of all, the reason Marc Bulger couldn't stay healthy was because he had one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL. He had nobody to block for him. Thus he ended up on his back more times than not. Given when he had a somewhat decent O-Line in his first few seasons he was a Pro Bowler. Imagine what he'd do with a good O-Line. He's not going to start but like others said if Joe gets hurt he'd be a good backup.MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
NBA: New York Knicks
NFL: Houston Texans, St. Louis Rams
NCAA: Georgia Tech Yellow JacketsComment

Well,at least Marc can stand behind this offensive line and not be scared for his life.
I swear the past couple of years watching him in St.Louis he just had the glazed over look in his eyeComment
