30 Team Control and Manual Injuries

I never bothered with either one of these features till today, and I have a question pertaining to both.

As for 30 team control which I've decided to do because I can not stand the lack of roster management AI. If you set all the team management functions to auto while keeping the main team you're using to manual, will you still recieve trade offers and what not?

As for injuries and this is pretty straight forward.If you set them to manual, will there still be automatic CPU generated injuries or will you have to "hurt" players for them to get injured. I know this is a small problem as you can always switch injures to on/off/manual, at any time.

You have to manually injure them.
Go to the DISABLED LIST then use the shoulder buttons to cycle teams...highlight a player and choose injury and injury length.
Note: You can "uninjure" a player at any time also and you can also switch between injuries to MANUAL or ON(generated) at any time.

You have to manually injure them.

A quick question...if you manually place the player on the DL, is he placed back on the active roster automatically when his injury time is up? I've been sending players to AA or A while they are on the real-life DL because I didn't know how to send them to the DL.

Also...(I don't want to hijack this thread, but while we're on the topic of rosters)...have you had the CPU tell you that a player cannot be added to the 40 man roster? I can't find a way to bring Gerardo Parra back up to the majors after removing him from the 40-man earlier in the season. I'm getting a "Only free agents can be added" message. Any input?

Having same problem where lots of players who I previously sent down cant be placed on the 40 man roster because free agents can only be signed after Nov... etc

Anyway to resolve this?
