Arsenal slumped to a 2 - 0 loss today at the Emirates as Chelsea beat them with a goal by Kalou and Anelka in the first half, new manager Connor Pithie wasn't pleased at all.

"That was an atrocious displayed by the referee! First of all Kalou's goal from the free-kick wasn't a foul as Gallas only touched the ball and Anelka was a country yard offside! Choose better referees for important matches like these in the future FIFA!"

                Arsenal Transfer Flop!

Today Arsenal failed to sign three new players to the squad as a horrible turn of events saw Arsenal lose the chance of grabbing their signatures.

The first transfer flop that came in account was the attempted signing of Shunsuke Nakamura, The right midfielder from R.C.D Espanyol, the Japanese international decided to play for Caglialri instead, despite the offer from Arsenal and Catalan giants Barcelona.

The second player that slipped through Arsenal's fingers was centre back David Luiz who currently plays for SL Benfica in Portugal. The defender expressed his feelings about the size of squad and was concerned that he would not receive any playing time although there are only nine defenders playing for Arsenal after the 'youth loan-out'

The last player to stick his finger up at Arsenal was one, Luis Suarez of Ajax. Ajax said they felt as if Arsenal were hogging all the talent and declined Arsenal's offer, manager Connor Pithie was devastated by the unfortunate event's.

"These are three really talented players that would really improve the squad and help us to that Barclay's Premier League title but my effort's seem to be in vain. I guess I'll just have to get back out there and look for some more players."
                - Connor Pithie, Arsenal.com
