    Favorite Offensive Style?

So far I've used the Air Raid, option, pro, and multiple offensive styles and I'm really liking the Air Raid. What is your favorite style to use so far?

    One Back.

Unfortunately, college ball has gone so spread-crazy that One Back stuff is overlooked. But Idaho and Oregon State have killer One Back playbooks.

Pro and One Back are both pretty fun to run. GT option is fun to run for a bit but gets boring after a while and to easy for a online opponent to key in on,

I love the hurry-up spread. I just wish they'd do the look-to-the-sidelines thing automatically. It's not that it's hard to audible then cancel, but it just feels nerdy when I do that, like I'm forcing a visual aesthetic, instead of it just being "what spread teams do."

It also feels a bit off the way the guys run to the LOS, like it's just the "hurry-up" from years past. I dunno, hard to put it into words I guess, but it should "feel" more natural.

I also don't think we should have to hold the triangle button to execute it. It should be an option somewhere to just run it auto.

Other than those three gripes, though, I love running it.

So far for me, it's just been Run and Shoot. I put the disc in as soon as I got it and went straight to SMU and Hawaii's playbook. I'll take Hawaii's over SMU's simply because Hawaii's playbook leaves out that annoying SG Y-Trips formation. It's not a true shoot PB, but it does have a few plays with option routes in there. SG Trips 60 Slide is a thing of beauty.

I'm using buffalo's playbook, i'm pretty sure the five wide with quads on one side formation is impossible. I would love to switch to the run and shoot down the road in my dynasty though.

Mississsippi State has lots of good shotgun formations

So far, I have mostly been using pro playbooks. For some reason it's been a slight learning curve to try and get used to some of the spread playbooks. Need practice!!!

What's wrong with 4 receivers on one side in a 5 wide formation? As long as you've got 7 on the line of scrimmage (ie at least one receiver at the LoS on each side of the line) you're golden.

I really like BYU's air raid..but Im going to convert them to a pure run and shoot in OD.

Notre Dame's new spread is very versatile. Lots of options..you can play both a pass heavy, and there is plenty of balance to it, if you have a good runner also.

Im growing pretty comfortable with the spread the more I play it.
