Re: What's Your Gameplan?
I dont like using this feature aswell..i think it should be and option to turn off. it just doesnt seem like you need to use..I think this feature needs a lil work, but i feel this feature is really not needed. -
Re: What's Your Gameplan?
It all depends on the team I'm playing... isn't that the way it should be?PSN: SiiLv3RxComment

Re: What's Your Gameplan?
My only automatic is that I set my catching to conservative, and hold blocks to aggressive.
Catch the dang ball...I'll take care of the YAC myself.
I dont touch big hit, or ball strip. I dont touch INT either.
The rest I go by feel and how the game is going.
I really try to restrict jump the snap, as much as possible.
Full time jump the snap can distort the game.
I limit aggressive DL for strictly situational purposes.
1) Opponenent is inside my redzone
2) I have my opponent backed up inside his own 10
3) 3rd and 10+
4) deperate, must pass situations.Comment

Re: What's Your Gameplan?
I actually enjoy playing defense now so the game has expanded exponentially.
I've decided to try out the 4-2-5 set with Texas A&M. I like the heavy pass rush with Von Miller to hurry the QB into making bad throws, and the CBs pick up a fair bit of INTs sitting back. I think 5 games into my season I have only 2 or 3 sacks but 3 INTs returned for TDs. I use an extra strong safety instead of a cornerback. I did this mainly because the Aggies have a poor LB crew, however they have a good DLine and a decent secondary. So far stopping the run has been problematic. DeMarco Murray ripped me apart against Oklahoma for 200+ yards, but I won on a 4th quarter Pick 6, 28-21.
Offensively the Aggies are very dangerous, and I run mostly ACE packages with no huddle. I'm not sold on running out of the shotgun yet, and I am quite comfortable with the Ace. The Aggies have 2 good running backs and a good WR corps so Jared Johnson has lots of targets. JJ himself is good at scrambling, but I have used him more as a pocket passer so far. O-Line is suspect it seems and I have taken a fair number of sacks.Comment
