Why do people not give Lamar Odom enough credit?
I mean, for a guy that is 6'10, he sure does handle the ball well. He kinda reminds me of Dirk Nowitzki in the sense that he has some outside game, and not just post game. Although, he is more athletic than Dirk. Hell, I think it is kinda weird that the Lakers let him push the ball up the court like he is a guard, though. You dont see many teams that let a PF or a C do that.

Maybe because he's one of the most inconsistent players in the league

Yeah, Odom might be the biggest flake in the league. I've been saying it for years, he is completely capable of being the best player in the league on any given night. If you take someone who has no clue who the best players in the NBA are, make them watch a Lakers game, and then ask who the best player is, theres a chance they could say Odom.

I've never seen a pro miss more layups than Odom. His bball IQ isn't great and he never really lived up to his potential IMO.

He has the skill to do it all, extremely versatile. He's just so inconsistent.

Lamar frustrates me to no end because of his inconsistent play and what makes things even worse is how skilled he is. If he didnt have as much talent I would be okay but he's way to up and down. There are times I wish the Lakers would just trade him and be done with it. |

Because he's the type of student that could get straight A's with a little effort but settles for C's on a regular basis...

Lamar Odom might be the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen in the history of the NBA. Seriously, the guy had/has the skills to be a top 15 player of all-time, and he's absolutely blown it. Waste. WASTE.
