Re: Roman Caesar?
If he does they probably won't be for awhile after the season starts. I don't know when they came out last year, but I know they're supposed to be based upon their performance for the current season.Comment

Re: Roman Caesar?
So is anyone else going thru and Editing the rosters then?
I looked at K-State's roster from Fairydales and the roster isn't very accurate to real life.

Re: Roman Caesar?
Yup. The roster I found in the ROMANCAESAR locker looks better than anything else I've seen so far.Comment

Re: Roman Caesar?
Maybe he's going to do them, but not tell anyone until he's done...that way he's not got people up in his "face" so to speak, about when they're going to be done, and all the other 1,000s of questions people ask during the course of his roster work. Kudos to him if that's the case, because his rosters were amazing. If not, I don't blame him a bit...because some people on here are ungrateful D-bags.Comment

Re: Roman Caesar?
I agree. I will never understand why people constantly ask when a roster set is going to be done, especially after the person doing them gives a time frame. I know I've done some roster work in the past and I just got tired of people asking over and over when the file would be done, they need to start their franchise/dynasty, etc... It adds pressure which is not really cool.
It will be done when it's done... People have lives, they have jobs, they might have a wife and kids... I know for me, it has taken me over a week to just do Washington's roster. This includes equipment edits and adding new freshmen and doing some minor rating adjustments... I don't get a whole lot of gaming in right now because I have a four-month old son that I'd rather hang out with... I am guessing some of these guys are the same.
I won't start my real dynasty until the first patch comes out, anyway. So for me, I'm not in any kind of rush. I'd rather have the guys doing the rosters focus on getting them done on their own time. My goal is to usually begin my dynasty by the time the real college football season starts. Rosters are all over the place by then.Comment

Re: Roman Caesar?
FairdaleKings are just names, no edits of anykind.
I might have to check out RomanCaesar's if he has made edits.
For example Iowa is not correct. AJ Derby is a QB not TE, Micah Hyde is the 3rd DB, Jeff Tarpinian is starting MLB not OLB, Binns is LE and Clayborn is RE, not flipped like they have in the game. David Cato transferred in January and is not on the team anymore.
Just for starters.Comment

Re: Roman Caesar?
So far it looks like he has most of the big ten, and the top players at each position done regardless of conference. I don't want to bother the guy and ask what he's done so far, and no one else should either. Hopefully he keeps quietly posting these great updates all season long. The rating scale he uses to rate players has been consistent over the years, and is the best that I have seen on any roster for any game.
Last year in his thread he was constantly answering questions, can't blame him for not wanting to deal w/that anymore.Comment
