DUMB question about scholarships & recruiting tips? i'm a noob!
 

i started a dynasty with wisconsin and at the beginning of the season i have 25 scholarships to offer. my question, if i don't hand out all 25 scholarships during the recruiting process, will the computer auto-fill the remaining unissued scholarships?

do you guys have any tips on recruiting? as of now it says i need 2 MLBs, 1 WR, and 1 SS. how do you guys go about recruiting? i don't have many team needs, but we can have 35 spots on our recruiting board. i attempt to fill positions where there are more seniors than underclassmen.

i am obviously new to ncaa, but really enjoying the game!

Fixed.

In fact, depending on what school you are, you may need to target as many as 5 times (if not more) the players at that position versus what you actually need.

But even a top tier program with A's across the board in every recruiting category can fail to pick up some recruits that they try hard for all season long.

Lesser programs definitely need to target a lot of players, at least early.

Find the ones who have high priorities on your strengths and focus on them. But still, it's best to over-recruit. If you just need 1 WR, you're not going to be hurt signing 3 (unless you just have a TON of needs across the board). You can always cut players later if they're not good enough. Plus, who knows which one of those 3 WRs is actually the best until they get onto your campus?

The cpu will only hand out scholarships for you if you have scholarship assistance turned on
