Am I CRAZY!?..or is PRACTICE MODE alot smoother and more fluid?

Folks....I didnt realize how much smoother and more organic the gameplay felt until I went into a practice mode with my team's OFFENSE and DEFENSE. The gameplay just felt so much more responsive and fluid. You can feel all the little slight adjustments and movements of the players and you appreciate all the little subtle interactions with each of the players

Or maybe I am just crazy?....Can some of you try this and tell me if I've gone bonkers or not please.


If not, then this may demonstrate that there is just too much non gameplay overhead elements that intrude on that enjoyable 'practice mode' experience when playing regular games with all the crowd, visual extras, announcers, etc.

The gameplay in practice mode...felt so....responsive, for lack of a better word.

I'd say they're pretty close, but it makes sense: like you said, stadiums, refs, crowd, etc., presumably all have an effect on performance.

I agree. But I still miss the random play option for both the offense and the defense.

It's there but you can only call random plays out of a formation. It's the select button on the PS3, unsure what it is on the 360..

I somewhat agree about the practice mode, even though I haven't really been practicing that long to tell the difference.

I agee! no framerate or slow down happens in practice mode...it so smooth

DUDE YOU'RE NOT CRAZY!! I played practice for like 30 minutes when i first hopped into the game and I was blown away and like practically jumping around cuz it was so cool and stuff but when I played an actual game I didn't seem as... like connected I guess with the action..

Without a doubt! I cannot pull off the moves with the right stick so well during a regular game but I was illy in practice mode.

Ok, Im glad I wasnt the only one noticing this. The game plays so....butter smooth in practice mode. And the result seems to be a much more organic feeling game because you seem to have more control of the subtle movements which really opens up the game even more from a playability standpoint.

I never realized how 'unsmooth' gameplay was until I tried it in Practice mode. I think EA should look into this further and try to tweak all those 'extras' during gameplay to increase the framerate. Or at least take a page out of the PC games and gives an option to turn some things OFF or lower their detail!

Now that I've played a few practice sessions, I am longing for that fluidness in my regular dynasty games and would be willing to sacrifice some of the insignificant eye candy to get it.
