Will the rookies not signed by release date not be in the game?

It seems there's alot of talk in the football world of a few amount of rookies not signing soon, likely after the madden release and if that's the case. Will we have to wait for roster updates after they sign?

I thought they had Crabtree, then took him out, then put him back in when he signed?

That's possible (I don't recall exactly) but you might remember that there was talk of Crabtree not signing at all with the 49ers and re-entering the 2010 draft.

Okay, so are the rookies that aren't signed in these set rosters?

well, the ones who they "predict" to make the final 53. for example on the eagles roster they have riley cooper on the team (rookie wr) who is in a battle for a roster spot, and failed to include daniel teo-nesheim (sp) who has a very good chance at making the team (more than cooper). but anyway they will come out with roster updates and if you cant get those you could prob find them on here

I'm no expert but as far as I know, rookies who had not signed when the rosters were finalized for release are always included in the game on their appropriate teams. In the unusual case of Michael Crabtree, he held out well after the start of the season so he was removed from the 49ers with a roster update. When he finally signed in October, he was placed back on the 49ers.

As of right now, I'm sure all drafted rookies, signed or unsigned, are in the game on their teams and will remain through any roster updates unless they are cut or have a prolonged holdout like Crabtree.

Let's not forget how rare a Crabtree-style holdout is anyway.
