EA hides the fact they are not creative or they are lazy by using the shield of game play! "Oh we are just concentrating on game play!" Really? Well whoever was concentrating on strategy pad needs to go work in the cafeteria!

Ok I'm sorry but this was freakin hilarious...this is just my opinion on Madden 11 vs Madden 10....matter of fact, let me back up one step further. It's all about expectations...fellas, don't set your expectations high for this game. Period. That way you will save yourself a lot of disappointment. I had no high expectations for Madden 11...basically it seems to be Madden 10 with a super patch that fixed a lot of things that were horribly wrong with Madden 10. A lot of you played the hell outta Madden 10 so a new improved Madden 10 should be cool, right? I am sure there is more they could do every year but with no comp, they have no incentive. It is what it is....As far as the strategy pad...it blows chunks...BUT, you guys know that we pay for cheese play in one way or another EVERY SINGLE YEAR...it's just in a different way. Last year the WR would try to do an over the shoulder catch while the DB jumped 12 feet for the pick...we were paying for the rocket catchers. They also crippled the RB slant route out of the backfield because cheesers went nuts and people complained. Next year, I have no idea what the counter cheese unit will come up with. But back to my original idea...just reset your expectations. This will save on a lot of the people that come here and spaz out and should cut down on the bans. I can barely scroll down a full page without seeing a pink name.

I Agree. Honestly how much did you guys think they could improve? M10 was a good game! i dont think there was leaps and bounds of stuff they could do to M11

The problem is NCAA was so bootylicious that the improvements they made this year was nuts and people are thinking the same with Madden. Personally Madden 10 was a good game to me but I need the following fixed.....

Receivers jump for the ball with the corners and not try the over the shoulder grab
Better run blocking
Sideline catches needed to be fixed
Fade routes were broken
Better blitz pick up
Better ball trajectory

I only play online so that is why I don't mention franchise...I'm just talking pure gameplay...if those items were working properly this game would have been a major success with me. I mean I still played it...not nearly as much as I usually do...I just had to find ways around those problems.

I honestly couldn't belive it when I play it the other day for the first time... Madden 11 is a addon to madden 10 not really a new game at all... they really dropped the ball this year, I played at a friends house I am so glad I didn't waist $65 dollars on this game I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the morning.

Its a good game if you never owned madden 10 but if you shelled out top dollar for both your gonna be very upset thats all I have to say.

Thank god I did not buy it this year.
