So im sitting here reading about the dynasty issue with recruits and started to think how could this be fixed on your own. Granted i know this is not gonna be for everyone but it could end up working until EA fix the problem.

OK here it goes:

So what if you created 50-150 recruits 5star and 4star. This would balance out the recruiting for the top schools. You will have also have to create about 30 kickers and punter to help the kicking in the game. Yes this will take time. Im guessing about a day or 2 depends on the time you put in.

I will be trying this out this weekend to see how it works out..

but what do you guys think of this concept?

We already kno this is something that ea messed up and should fix, so that does not need to b stated. Just focus on what i had said thank you.

That's what I was thinking.. there has to be a maximum, of some sort, on created recruits. Although, this isn't a bad idea just extremely tedious and time consuming.

EA is supposedly "fixing" this problem with a tuning set next week, so you're basically wasting a lot of time if you try this.

Check out the thread called Patch #2 I think. They have a link that talks about them fixing the recruiting logic and recruits as well.

Unless they changed it this year, don't think they did, you can only make 25-30 recrutis per year. I have not made any players in a few years but there was a thread on this and the guy said the max was 25 or 30 can't remember which is correct.

Actually the statement is that they are looking to fix some issues with progression and recruiting logic with the tuner set next week. It's a little bit short of a commitment to solve the problem that exists although it is encouraging.

It would not work because there are too many teams. Trust me, I thought about it.

Let's just say you went through the very annoying and time consuming task of making 100 recruits each year.

First, the CPU teams would horde a lot of those better players still leaving the lower teams junk players.

Even if every team got one of those recruits... There would still be 20 teams without any of them.

It's a nice idea, but you would literally have to make 600-700 recruits a year to make the game play "normal" in the future.

1. Your proposed solution does not fix the actual problem of generated recruits coming in with poor skill ratings and AWR.
2. Your proposed solution has been proposed 10 times in the past week.
3. EA is supposed to be patching this via tuner sets and/or patch in the next few weeks.
4. THE PROBLEM IS NOT TOP TALENT! I don't know how many times this has to be said. The problem is the low to mid range D-1 teams becoming worse than FCS teams. Even if EA fixes the low ratings across the board, they still need about 2x as many 2 and 3 star recruits and to cut the 1 star recruit pool in half.

Even if there was no patch I would not dedicate 2 whole days creating recruits...especially kickers.

yeah, I tried to create a bunch of recruits once, and after two or three it was like "uggghh am I done yet?" If you have the willpower to create hundreds, I seriously commend you.

I know White Out, before release, made a thread where he studied progression, and guessed that adding around five 85+ rated recruits could help balance out the lack of talent (he judged it by the team ratings after a certain number of years). Only, at the time I don't think any of us anticipated how bad the progression really was, just that it was toned down. Too bad nobody noticed all these recruits coming in with 40 freaking awareness ratings, we'd all probably have saved ourselves a lot of butthurt.
