Help concerning NBA 2K10 on PC..

Okay cpu experts, i ran the game through canurinit.com and it informs me i should be able to run the game at max settings. However, the game is laggy as hell at all detail settings, here is what i have:

I'm running an AMD Athlon Dual-Core QL-62
1.7 GB of ram
Geforce 8200mg

I'm not a pc expert, can somebody explain why this isn't working?

I run it with a lesser pc maxed out. Initially I had that problem, I just can't seem to remember what changed.....thinking....try running it windowed mode?

Window mode didn't make a difference, any other ideas?

No way you can run it at max settings. The CPU is just 2ghz and minimum specs for the game is, I believe, 1.8 ghz.

It's a notebook/laptop right? They don't have fast enough graphics cards. You should be able to run it on lowest settings.

Even if canurunit, or whtever the site is called, says you can run it, it means you have the MINIMUM specs in order to play the game.

Try it on the lowest setting, you won't be able to play it on higher settings I'm afraid.

Even on low settings it's laggy though

I think the graphics cards just isn't too powerful. Sorry... There's really nothing you can do to get it working on with those specifications. Unless you buy a laptop specifically for games, you won't be able to run newer 3D games.
