Kellen Clemens -- Journey to the NBA

    Game: College Hoops 2k8 & NBA 2k9, 10, or 11 (Haven't decided yet)
    Difficulty: Highest Difficulty
    Game Mode: Legacy & Dynasty
    Sliders: My own sliders.
Explanation: I got the idea to start a "Be A Pro" type of dynasty. I will follow this player throughout his college career until he makes it big into the pro's. I will also accept other people a chance to jump into the mix by allowing them to become a recruit and jump on a team themselves. If anyone wants to be on the team I join I will also allow that before I begin posting games up. You must turn in an application right away for that to happen.
Applications: Every player that starts in this game will be a 70 overall with a 95 potential. I want you to include your name, height, position, 3 strengths, and 3 weaknesses. Here is an example:

    Kellen Clemens, 6'4", SG
Strengths: 3 pt shooting, Stealing, and Ball Handling
Weaknesses: Blocking, Speed, and On Ball Defense

Timeliness of Posts: Because I am busy with life in general expect two posts to show up a week at minimum. If I do more than that than it is a not so busy week for myself. Enjoy!

Thanks to all of you guys for posting up some players for me to put on my team so I am not the only one scoring lol.

I will most likely post up the final score to the first game later on tonight. The team is looking solid so far. Not sure why the text at the bottom is hard to read. I might go back and fix that but if not, I think everyone can read it. Sorry there is not named rosters. Internet won't connect to 2k share so no named rosters

Unfortunately, my journal entry has not shown up the way I wanted it to. I would much rather not figure it out and just post up my next journal entry rather than fixing the image I made. So here is what was written in the journal. Next journal entry will be in an image format and will look nice. Promise.

                            Western Illinois @ Morehead State

We won! First game of the season and we pulled it off. Adding 17
points to our victory made it all the more sweeter. I kept myself composed
but inside I was beaming like a light bulb. I almost feel like I have to
keep myself composed with the claims I have made in the past. The media
has lit me up for my "promise" act and it sucks. The only thing I can do is
perform the best I can day in and day out. I guess I didn’t realize what I
was getting myself into when I made that promise. Every person has been
observing my every action hoping I fall flat on my face.
The team and I have been getting along good so far. I almost got into a
fight with that big center with the long hair. He fouled me hard so I
called him a girl since he has long hair. Kids a punk and ruins the team
chemistry we have going on right now. He is probably angry because he isnt in the "fantastic four".

On campus I have been getting involved with several girls. I have never
seen so many beautiful women in my life. Most of them wont give me the
time of day though. This one girl named Kyndra has been mad nice to me
the past couple days though. She is in one of my classes. I just have been
too shy to ask her out on a date. I was always told that I didn’t have
much game. Jamaal keeps telling me that everytime he goes out with a
girl and I'm stuck at home. I'm hoping things develop nicely with Kyndra
                            though. We'll see.

My coach has been riding me harder than anybody else recently. It makes
my job so much tougher. I think he expects more out of me or something
because there are days where I want to quit. He is like a drill seargant.
I keep this image to the public that we are getting along great but that’s
all for show. The other players on the team have questioned the mans
sanity more than once with some of the drills he is having us run. I guess
I should have been more careful with where I went when it came to coaching.

No worries though being a student athlete isnt all that bad. After last
game I looked in my locker and saw an envelope in my jacket pocket. I
didn’t think anything of it so I waited until I got back to my dorm room.
I opened the envelope up and saw 100 dollars in there! A note that said
you get the prize tonight. The signature was too hard to read but I figured
it was alumni or something. I burned the note right after that since that
is what the note told me to do. I figured if I wanted to keep that money I
probably made the right decision. Apparently the player of the game gets
one of those envelopes every night according to one of the upper classmen.
This is to hoping I get it every game.

                            Goals For Next Week:
                            1) Ask Kyndra out on a date
                            2) Work on jump shot this week
                            3) Win Player of the game at least once next week.
