I know rumors of features from FM11 came out about a week ago, but I didn't see it being discussed here.

Since August is the time that features start getting announced and there is a rumored Oct. 29th release date, I figured we needed a thread to discuss what's new in FM11.

If the info at the above link is true, I'm loving the introduction of agents, since they play a huge part of the footballing world in real life. As long as they are not handled as poorly as the media in press conferences.

Interesting about the night game stuff, sounds really cool. Agents also seem to be an overdue addition, although I never really thought about it.

No mention of improved online play. That worries me. And it comes out 2 days after my b-day.

I also just read that SI has come out and said that some of the leaked info is true, and some of it is not. Just sounds like a company line, but it is what it is.

Good news to hear. I just hope that the players actually rebound missed shots (more frequently/aggressive at least)

I'm liking the looks of the new 3D players.

With even more depth and categories, I'm hoping someone in the community makes some good training schedules right away. Setting those up is a chore.

And what the heck is the deal with the release date being "Before Christmas 2010"?

Seems like they say that every year or "winter release" I would expect it to be out by the middle of november at the latest

The producers have said they are upping the immersion in the game, which I think is sorely needed. I hate seeing somebody win player of the week/month on another team and not know why they won it, having to look up that player's stats from the past week/month to find out. In my current save, I know which teams and players are stars and are having good seasons around the world because I am curious and routinely check, but if I didn't do that, I would have no clue what was going on outside of my team, aside from knowing where teams in my league are in the standings. I'm hoping that at some point in the near future of FM games, the World Player of the Year voting will come up and I'll at least have an idea of who deserves it without having to spend time researching the players.

Revamped press conferences - now that's good news. I have given up on even using them because they're too tedious and repetitive.
