but performance attributes increased or decreased by performance week5,11,16. Even then those attributes were strictly performance based
tackling, run and pass blocking, awareness, pass accuracy, catch ,carrying.
UNlike now the game wasn't overally scripted for these wack new jacks, then you had enough control to where it wasn't almost predetermined that you fail.
If you performed poorly with a good QB during that 5 week period, your awareness , pass accuracy would drop, O lineman getting shoved around in the run game, and beat in pass protection would lower pass and run pro rating along with awareness. Conversly if you did well there skills would increase. The best thing about it, is that rewareded you for performing well and penalized you when you didn't.....and it wasn;t 1 game or a practice, it was 5 games, better pace more realistic.
Unlike now where EA and fanboys alike have kneejerk reactions to change the roster frivilously.
