Community Support Breathes New Life into Backbreaker

Fed up with NCAA 11's Dynasty mode bugs? Unimpressed by the Madden 11 demo?

Well, fret not football fans, your favorite sport's season need not be hampered by a lack of new games to play.

Behind the public eye, in forums ill-frequented, an old, forgotten football game has quietly been reborn:

I'm very much liking what I'm seeing coming from this big patch update. I think they are doing a good job in fixing all of these problems with BB and listening to their fans. Good read and can't wait to try out the update patch when it comes out.

i've been a supporter from day one...the patch and the developers community interaction has made me feel like my money matters to them. I will continue to support them as long as they continue with the same type of interaction with people who purchase their game. Please support them and buy the game new. I think its as low as $29.99 new at some places. You've spent hundreads of dollars playing other football titles with minimal and incremental results. We have to continue to support innovation.

Still haven't played BB but I'm impressed by what the developer is doing to improve on the game. I get the sense that these guys are really hungry and are not taking any feedback from the fans for granted.
I'm all for APF going PES on EA (acronyms FTW!)

at this point brotha...it doesnt matter...just buy it for whatever system you prefer...the sale of the game is all that matters.

man, they flew Apex (aks GideonPrime) out to San Fran and asked him for his input. Regardless of your feelings about Gideon, for Natural Motion to do that speaks volumes to me. I never expect any company to go to those lengths but the fact that they REALLY wanna make a football game that people have been wishing for is just awesome to me. Now if that aint dedication, I dont know what is

EA has been doing this for years with the community.
