Ringworld - Larry Niven
Classic Sci-Fi and still good even tho I've read it numerous times. |
Re: OS Book Club Pt II
I'm reading a Book called "Correction Road" by Glen Dresser. Never heard of this author and never read a book by a Canadian & about Canada. Very weird book, I must say, and not easy to read (with my average English), yet I don't stop until I'm done (about 40 pages to go!). Still enjoyable to some extent. I just love the Canadian small town atmosphere!
My favorite author, by far, is Paul Auster. I've read slmost all of his books. Waiting for his new one...should be released this year. Other favorite books: 1) "Confessions of a Homing Pigeon" by Nicholas Meyer. 2) "The Hotel New Hampshire" by John Irving. 3) "World's Fair" by Edgar Laurence Doctorow. I like to read books about the 1940's-1960's US, like someone who writes about his childhood back then etc.. |

Just got done reading the book the "I am the Cheese" We read it in my class. The students really like all the twisted in the book and the mystery of it. Next book is going to be the "Outsiders" or maybe "Bud not Buddy" I still have to pick one. I might look in our book room and see what we have in there.
